What We Do

We are on a MISSION to raise public awareness about neighbors who might need a second chance, help removing a barrier, or an urgent response to trauma.

Our Mission

The Transformation Exchange began with the understanding that sustainable change in outcomes for people experiencing poverty takes the combined strengths of the public, private, non-profit, and faith-based sectors of our community.  If we are to TRANSFORM lives in a sustainable way, a platform, like a commodities EXCHANGE, where ideas and resources can be shared and collaboration can be nurtured, is mission critical. Today, the vision has grown into a robust network of services and community partners that champion the underserved in Wake County.

We…

Connect
Introduce organizations to ministries and community advocates who want to give back to their community and support the boots on the ground

Collaborate
Broker partnerships between service providers and agencies to optimize resources and impacts

Communicate
Where help and resources are needed the most

Raise Awareness
Around tough topics that effect our youth, families and communities

How We Do It

Through community-based advocacy

Recruitment of community partners where gaps in services are identified

By connecting resources to organizations that serve people in poverty and crisis

Ensuring equitable access and community inclusion remain primary in every initiative we support

Giving Back

The Transformation Exchange stewards a philanthropic initiative called the Community Partner Network (CPN). The CPN was purposed to raise community awareness and recruit resources directly benefitting service providers on the front lines of human services.  All activities and events within CPN are provided without, or at significantly reduced, cost to the service providers through the support of patrons, advocates, and sponsors.
