RESOURCES

The Slippery
Slopes of Poverty

Addressing

Resources are members of the community (the faith, business, government, and nonprofit sectors) with concentrated interest and expertise that can come together to work on solutions to BIG problems. The kind of problems that no one sector has the answer for and for which a village is required.

Resources provide the foundation to accomplish the following goals and objectives:

  1. Advocate on behalf of vulnerable populations about ways our communities can help meet critical needs: public officials, the private sector, and the general public;

  2. Recruit service providers;

  3. Engage community members to help stand in the gap;

  4. Connect community resources to service providers; and

  5. Ensure the work we support, prioritizes equity and inclusion.
